Description
The CIMA Awards 2015 aimed to recognize and reward artists between the ages of 25 and 45. The awards accepted applications in traditional genres such as painting, sculpture, and print, as well as new media like video art, installations, photography, performance art, and digital art. This event was an open invitation to all the artists across the country covering 15 states and received an overwhelming response.
After rigorous evaluation, 159 artists out of over 2000 applications were selected by the preliminary jury and then the final jury selected the awardees. The catalogue features full colour plates of the selected artists’ works which were exhibited across various venues in Kolkata.
