Amit Singh Slathia’s (b. 1981) artistic practice is informed by his personal experiences and journey, which began in the idyllic valley of Malhori Jageer and later transitioned to the frenetic pace of city life. His artistic expression is deeply influenced by his sense of alienation, which he employs to capture the emotions and surroundings of new environments through a contemplative and exploratory process. Inspired by the interplay between spirituality, science, and technology, his art, aims to encapsulate the essence of the human experience, its joys, sorrows, triumphs, and failures, and to evoke a range of emotions and connections.

Through a hybrid of techniques and mediums, Amit creates multi-dimensional experiences that challenge traditional notions of reality.
